Our Community

Webster City is a beautiful county seat community located along the banks of the Boone River in North Central Iowa.

Located directly on US-20 and just 10 miles west of I-35, Webster City offers many aspects of small town life with convenient access to larger cities.

Webster City boasts of an excellent school system that enjoys fanatastic community support.  The recently completed $8 million competition gymnasium hosted its first official event on September 6th when the Lynx hosted the Gaels from St. Edmond (Fort Dodge) in volleyball.

Webster City offers numerous quality parks, campgrounds, bicycle & walking trails, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Other facilities that separate Webster City from other similarly sized communities are the Kendall Young Library, Fuller Hall Recreational Center, and the active Webster City Community Theatre.
